Volunteering at BBBO

Each spring and fall Braddock Bay Bird Observatory needs volunteers to help with a variety of tasks. Some folks help by recording banding information, doing building maintenance, trimming net lanes, or acting as education liaisons. Others provide moral support and brownies. Capable birders are always needed to participate in daily route census taking, and after training, volunteers can assist in removing birds from the nets and provide direct assistance to the banders.
