Week of August 28, 2005 |

Sunday August 28- 28 new, 12 recaps, 14 species. New species Warbling Vireo, Canada Warbler. Erin Karnatz and Kelly Dockery are
banders-in-charge (BIC) with much appreciated help from Scott Walcott.
Monday August 29- 24 new, 13 recaps, 8 species. Cindy Marino is BIC with help from Virginia
Duffy, Peggy Keller, Shirley Meston, and Nancy Chevalier.
Tuesday August 30 - 37 new, 16 species. New species Blackburnian Warbler. Bob McKinney is BIC with help from Kelly Dockery, Donna Hilborn, Nancy Chevalier, and Chita McKinney.
Wednesday August 31 - A washout with the remnants of Hurricane Katrina.
Thursday September 1 - 45 new, 2 recaps,16 species. New species Swainson's Thrush, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Slate-colored Junco. Cindy Marino is BIC with help from Linda Boutwell, Rob van der Stricht, and Marilyn Guenther.
Friday September 2 - 47 new, 12 recaps, 18 species. New species Bay-breasted Warbler. Kelly Dockery is BIC with help from Linda Boutwell, Ruth Stork, Marilyn
Guenther, and John Lehr.
Saturday September 3 - 52 new, 20 species. New species Eastern Wood-Pewee, Tennessee Warbler, Hooded Warbler. Bob McKinney is BIC with help from Jon Dombrowski, Shirley Mestin and Chita McKinney. We enjoy a visit from Alan Belford and six ecology and ornithology students from Houghton College, and a group of 12 hikers from the local Adirondack Mountain Club.
